complaints after cuting off the electricity of investors in
industrial area without warning
Business Council of Asharqia Branch Chamber of Khafji held on Wednesday, April
13, 2016 a meeting to discuss the action taken by the municipality by cutting
off electricity in factories in the province without an advanced alert to
oblige them to set up special waste containers, according to testimony by
factory owners.
The Chairman and members of Khafji Council, discussed this subject with those
affected and the importance of the safety measures taken, and there was a call
for bigger coordination between the industrialists and the municipality
of the province and the need to be obliged to preserve the environment and the
compliance with regulations and laws in accordance with the constant rules. The
Council stressed that the cutting off without warning is harmful to investors
specially that they basically did not refuse to respond to any request by the
municipality in this regard.
And during the meeting, some of the requests for a number of businessmen in the
province who have applied for membership have been accepted by the Council, as
the Council has approved the dates of upcoming meetings and meeting and visits
with officials in the county.
